Our School

At Scholes Junior and Infant School, we pride ourselves on being a successful community where children are at the heart of everything we do. Our dedicated team of staff, governors and trustees are highly motivated, resourceful, and committed to nurturing the needs of every child.

We believe that happiness and enjoyment are key to effective learning. Our goal is to make learning both fun and challenging, setting high expectations to help our children become confident and independent learners. We work closely with parents to ensure this happens, recognising the importance of strong communication between home and school.

Our aim is to support every child in reaching their full potential, developing their social awareness, and preparing them for the next phase of their education. We actively welcome new parents, parent helpers, and all visitors to our school. With many exciting plans for the year ahead, we will keep you updated with events and news as they happen.

We hope you find the information on our website useful and that it marks the beginning of a successful partnership in your child's education. We are extremely proud of our school and would be delighted to welcome you as part of our school community.

KIND Values

Pupil development is rooted within our KIND values - Kindness is key within all interactions at Scholes School and children embody this with each other, staff and all visitors. Our pupils are encouraged to build Independence - from the first days in Reception, right through to the leadership roles held in Key Stage Two. We Nurture not only one another, but also the talents of every individual where success is celebrated. All staff encourage children to have Determination in their actions - mistakes happen but provide valuable learning opportunities for personal growth.

The Mast Academy Trust

At The Mast Academy Trust we want staff to feel happy and to achieve their ambitions; to inspire our children to learn and grow; to collaborate for the good of all our children and staff.  We very much value our employees, we celebrate their individuality and invest in them, recognising that we are a team that achieves together.
