School Uniform

Sweatshirts/Cardigans
Choice of two colours – royal blue and red.  Wearing of sweatshirts/cardigans with the school logo is optional.  If you choose to purchase a sweatshirt without the school logo, it is important that no other logo appears on it.

Polo Shirts
Choice of three colours – white, royal blue and red.  Wearing of polo shirts with the school logo is optional.  If you choose to purchase a polo shirt without the school logo, it is important that no other logo appears on it.

Trousers/Skirts/Pinafore Dresses (plain)
Black, grey or navy.  Tracksuit bottoms are not part of the school dress code.

Summer Uniform
When the weather gets warmer girls have the option of wearing blue or red gingham dresses and boys can wear smart grey, black or navy shorts.

Bags

Children are given a book bag donated by FOSS when they start in Reception Class.  Replacement bags can be purchased from the school office (£5) or
alternatively, small backpacks (not more than around 40 cm tall) can be used.

P.E. kit should be in a named drawstring bag.

Accessories
The only jewellery allowed is a pair of small studs in the ears and a watch.  Further body piercing is not allowed. Necklaces and bracelets are not to be worn.  Hairstyles should be practical for school purposes; we discourage ‘extreme’ hairstyles.  We find that being sensibly dressed for school means that the children really focus on education and not fashion.  Throughout the year we do have ‘non-uniform’ days which allow children to be creative.

Children are not allowed to wear make-up to school.

Full dress code information is available on the School Prospectus .
