Ballet Workshop

On Monday 3 April 2017, we were once again lucky enough to have a visit from SLK Ballet School.

There were 3 workshops through the morning, allowing YR & KS1, Y3 & Y4 and Y5 & Y6 to experience working with the professional dancers. The children watched several different types of dance and took part in some of the warm up exercises. The children then watched a performance by the ballet school.

SLK Ballet School is a professional Ballet school based in New York City. As well as  having an exchange programme with English National Ballet school in London we also do outreach to hospitals and junior schools in the New York and surrounding area.
